Broken Glass in alleyway

Dear Resident

We have a received numerous complaints about copious amounts of glass appearing the alleyway behind properties 73 - 103 Norfolk Crescent. Contrary to initial thoughts, it would appear that it may well have been placed there intentionally.

Bexley Council has been informed and apparently they are going to clear the glass from the area. Historically though, when the glass has been removed before, it reappears very quickly.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team is now involved, and will seek to find out who is causing this repeated problem. I feel that it is important that I inform residents, that if glass is placed, whereby damage or injury is caused to other people or their property, then if it was done so intentionally or recklessly, then the perpetrator could be committing a criminal offence, for which they may be arrested or summonsed.
If anyone has information regarding this, we would appreciate it if they would contact our team at the soonest opportunity.

If anyone has a grievance regarding the alleyway, or its use, then I would advise them to contact the Blackfen and Lamorbey Team, or Council in order to resolve this through the correct and legal channels.
